Non-Governmental Organization Aequitas are set to launch an online seminar series which will last from October 24th until the 13th of December. The aim of the seminars will be to “… inform and empower with the tool human rights all those who are interested …”. Aequitas “… work and raise awareness on human rights, collaborate with the European Commission for tackling online hate speech, work with the toolkits of the Council of Europe and envision a society in which human rights will be known and respected …”.
The details regarding the upcoming seminars are as follows:
The seminars will be delivered in ENGLISH and they will focus on various subjects such as Hate Speech, LGBTQI Rights, Migrant / Refugee Rights.
The seminars will be delivered using “ZOOM” and they will be held in the following hours:
- Seminar 1 (24-25 October 2020) – Hours: 09:30 – 13:30
The first seminars subject point(s) will be an Introduction to Human Rights.
- Seminar 2 (7-8 November 2020) – Hours: 09:30 – 13:30
The second seminars subject point(s) will be Hate Speech & Human Rights.
- Seminar 3 (14-15 November 2020) – Hours: 09:30 – 13:30
The third seminars subject point(s) will be LGBTQI Rights.
- Seminar 4 (12-13 December 2020) – Hours: 09:30 – 13:30
The fourth seminars subject point(s) will be Refugees, Migrants & Human Rights.
Certification will also be available to participants.
The entry / registration fee for each seminar will be *15 Euros and *40 Euros for ALL FOUR seminars and payments can be made via Bank Transfer / Quickpay / Revolut / PayPal.
