Covid-19: North Cyprus Announces New Checkpoint Regulations For Workers

According to news sources coming out of the north of the island, people residing in the north but working in the south of Cyprus and vice versa will now be able to cross over to the north or south for one day under the condition that they present a negative PCR test taken in the last 7 days before trying to cross the checkpoint. 

Ersan Saner announced the new regulations and stated that – “… Those that reside in the North but work in South Cyprus or those that reside in South Cyprus and work in the North, in the case where they submit a negative PCR test taken in the last 7 days, will be able to cross the checkpoints without having to enter quarantine for one day …”.
