Erhürman Given Go Ahead by Party to Build Coalition

Cumhuriyetçi Türk Partisi (CTP) Party Leader Tufan Erhürman was given the go ahead to build the new coalition “government” in the north of Cyprus after being given the mandate for the role by Turkish Cypriot Leader Ersin Tatar. 

According to sources in the north of Cyprus, Erhürman will launch his efforts today (24/11/2020) at 12:00 when he will meet with the UBP Party and another 2 parties. He will also meet with another 2 parties tomorrow as well to complete the first tour of meetings.

As to what type of “government” Tufan Erhürman envisions: Erhürman has said before that “… no matter if we create it, or somebody else does, for me, the government that will be built will be an early election government …”.
