Cyprus will be opening its borders on the 1st of March 2021 for travel to and from the Larnaka and Paphos airports without restrictions / quarantine requirements. So how will those that recieve the Covid-19 Vaccine travel to and from Cyprus?
According to the Minister of Transport Yiannis Karousos, who was a guest at the “Alpha Kalimera” show, as per the amended plan of action approved by the Council of Ministers in the Republic of Cyprus, it is expected that those that receive the Covid-19 vaccination will be able to enter the Republic without being required to present a negative PCR test. Karousos added that:
“… the Ministry of Health will explain to us when and how many days after the vaccination someone will be entitled to travel, because it seems that it will take some days or weeks to obtain the antibodies …”.
