North Cyprus Lifts Flight Restrictions

According to news sources coming out of the north of Cyprus, the authorities in the north cancelled flight restrictions on Monday which would only allow a total of 2 commercial flights a day to arrive at the Ercan airport. 

As per sources, the cancellation of restrictions took place at 4:55 PM with the authorities official statement saying that this action was taken for all foreign students to be allowed to return for their education at their respective universities at the north of the island.

Furthermore, it was noted that the same quarantine rules will apply for said foreign students, meaning every returning student will be required to enter mandatory isolation at specific facilities decided by authorities.
