As per news sources coming out of the north of Cyprus, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar commented on the date and place announcement for the UN-led Informal 5+1 meeting and stated that “… we Shall Be Sharing In Detail In A Constructive And Sincere Manner Our New Vision In Favour Of A Two-State Solution …”.
According to sources Tatar welcomed the announcement and stated the following:
“… Decades of negotiations carried out on an unsuccessful basis is now in the past. A fair and permanent solution is possible on the basis of a realistic model. We shall be sharing in detail in a constructive and sincere manner our new vision in favour of a two-state solution based on sovereign equality and cooperation between two states which is fully supported by motherland Turkey …”, adding that the Turkish Cypriot side will continue its efforts for stability and prosperity at the island and in the region.
