Turkish President Erdoğan Receives 2nd Dose Of Covid Vaccine

According to Turkish news sources, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the 2nd dose of the Covid-19 Vaccine on Thursday and stated that ” … we aim to vaccinate all our citizens as soon as possible …”.

On January the 14th Turkey started her vaccination campaign with the vaccination of first, healthcare workers and top officials to encourage the public to receive the vaccine.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Health, over 2.88 million people have received the vaccine since the start of the vaccination campaign.

The 2nd dose of the vaccine is taken 28 days apart and those who recovered from the virus will not be required to vaccinate four to six months following their recovery.
