Word From Cyprus visited the Agios Georgios Church in Lympia.

The Agios Georgios church was built in 1901.

Its design has gothic morphological elements.

This can be seen from its pointed arches and its cruciform vaults.

Agios Georgios church was the main church of the community before the erection of the Agios Epiphanios church.

The church celebrates the feast day of St. George and hosts the feast of the Holy Cross on September 14th.
